Royal and Mary was established in 2007.  It was the culmination of over 20 years custom drapery and upholstery workroom experience mixed with Interior Decorating experience by its founder, June Smith.

Finding her love of sewing at an early age was a plus, but it wasn’t until the 1980s she found a passion for creating home decor.  Later, while attaining a BA in Art, with a heavy course load in Interior Design related classes, she worked in retail for The Bombay Co., and Ethan Allen.  The experience was important in laying the path for what was to be her future in home furnishings retail as well as for creating her own product line under the Royal and Mary label.

So, 23+ years later, her dream is being realized.  Royal & Mary, named after her parents, was established as a high quality home furnishings design and manufacturing company with it’s sights set on becoming a global phenomenon.  We appreciate your continued business and we look forward to creating beautiful home decor furnishing…just for you.
